"Wine to me is passion. It's family and friends. It's warmth of heart and generosity of spirit. Wine is art. It's culture. It's the essence of civilization and the art of living."
Robert Mondavi, American winemaker and legendary proponent of California wines
Stephanie moved to Sonoma County, California after 24 years in Manhattan, New York City to pursue and cultivate a personalized and passionate approach to the pleasures of yoga + wine.
The journey has been intentional, adventuresome and circuitous,
and as it is written:
“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.”
― T.S. Eliot, Four Quartets

Stephanie was introduced to the world of wine after working as an administrative assistant at T. Rowe Price. The Vice President of New Business Investments was an avid collector and shared his passion and wisdom enthusiastically with the team. Stephanie's interest for wine continued to hold a strong presence in her personal life.
Her professional journey, however, continued towards fashion public relations, retail marketing and sales in Washington, D.C. which ultimately led to opportunities in New York City. For almost ten years, Stephanie worked as an event planner, wedding coordinator and professional organizer for the famous and elite in New York City before returning to graduate school at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York to pursue studies in education.
After receiving her Masters in Education, Stephanie then began teaching yoga and preschool at a prestigious private school on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. After September 11th and the aftermath of the attack in New York City, the demand for yoga teachers increased and Stephanie's full-time teaching career moved towards teaching yoga, offering yoga retreats and starting a yoga education program for aspiring yoga teachers. Her yoga career was quickly accelerated when New York Magazine named her one of the best yoga teachers in New York City. Other notable accolades followed through the years. During this time, Equinox also recognized her skill set and promoted her to Group Fitness Manager for several locations. In 2013, Stephanie returned to retail and management while teaching both private and public yoga classes at Equinox.
