All Days » Day 36
Are you ready for transformation? Transformation is a powerful buzz word that floats in our language and our desire, and yet it requires a big leap of faith and dose of courage to go for it. The nature of transformation is that one thing becomes another. The old shape and form evolves and shifts to take another new shape. Transformation literally means to shift or change or travel from one shape to another. And so, the implication of letting go of the old to create new is embedded in transformation. Here we go!!!!
Here are your 3 gems:
1. Letting go. It sounds nice and easy but the reality is letting go is often the most difficult path. With intention, effort and patience, it can happen and then another path is revealed that is rich with love, forgiveness, kindness and compassion. And so, open your hands in a gesture of giving and receiving and see what releases.
Take a cherished idea of yours that you hold on to be true and change it. The resistance may be strong, but do it and feel it. The mind likes the security that comes with long-held beliefs and ideas. Remember that at one time people believed the world was flat. Imagine what it must have felt like to learn that the Earth was actually round. Gasp! The spiritual life and our path of spiritual practicality and loving compassion requires us to constantly examine and revise our beliefs, concepts and ideas. Learn to reframe your views especially about your status and superiority over others. Let go of the fantasy that you control what happens in your life. There are things that you do to create certain potential circumstances and situations but truly there is no controller. By acknowledging and opening to the mystery of life, we honor the inexplicable things and people that come our way as spiritual gifts. Letting go of hurry and worry in our fast-paced culture is another challenge. Relax your grip and let the tension dissolve. Slow down and let go of speed and see what new possibilities open in the grace. With more time and allowance of space, hear the voice of your intuition and discern the voice of Nature and Universal Consciousness. The messages are waiting for you. Let go of possessions that do not serve you and take up space. Clear out the clutter. Every choice you make about what to keep or discard reflects the intention of what is important in this time and place. As you clear, be mindful of what and how the item served you. Bless its presence in your life and offer appreciation. Then let it go and move on to its next mission. In letting go, we are lead to a more deepening enrichment of our lives.

2. Create a personal puja, or fire ceremony. Fire is an element of transformation and is often used for powerful rituals.
Here's what you will need:
Here's what you will need:
White candle which signifies purification, healing and cleansing.
Metal bowl or dish container to hold the candle.
A couple sheets of paper and envelope and writing instrument.
Intention to Let Go and Create New.
Write out on a piece of paper your dreams, desires, wants and wishes. This is the prosperity or acceptance letter to be sealed in the envelope and mailed to your self. Next write down on another piece of pater all they things that you wish to let go. This may include negative feelings about persons, places, events or illness, conditions which are not desirable, habits or behaviors, etc. This letting go list is lit by the white candle and allowed to burn into ash. Visualize the things you wrote dissolving and disappearing. Do this writing exercise as much as you wish during the puja. It is incredibly healing.

3. Fire needs air to breathe and grow and transform. Take note in your day where you grasp, stifle or put out the fire in your life and choose to breathe space and life into change and feel the transformation.
P.S. Fire it UP! When we transform, we die to be reborn.
