All Days » Day 25
Today is a day for full on expression. Giving voice to your vision, your dreams, your desires. So go for it: Speak up! Speak out! Speak in! Speak easy!
Here are your 3 Gems :
1. Time to SING! Singing and chanting is a direct opening of the throat chakra where our creative expressions and truth reside! So let's do it! Find a song or a chant and sing sing sing!
Please share your favorite song or chant in the Facebook Group. And if you wish to share a video, that would be really amazing!
2. One of the most powerful poses to stimulate expression and purify our truths is Matsyasana or Fish Pose. There are many stories about the being for whom Matsyasana was named. The pose honors the incarnation of Vishnu who took the form of a fish (or was swallowed by a fish), who then became Lord Shiva's "first" student by overhearing the secrets of the universe that Shiva revealed to his wife, Parvati. Thus, the lineage of teacher and student was born.
Within the Hindu trinity, there is Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Brahma is the Creator, Vishnu is the Sustainer and Shiva is the One who Purifies, in the most simplest of terms. The three deities work together to create the cycles of life.
And so, Matsyasana it is for today!

3. The Universe fills empty spaces. So, if you wish to create something new in your life, you must make the space, empty the cup to be filled, open to a new possibility. Start doing practical things at first: clean out closets, throw away the old magazines and newspapers, purge clothes and things that are not serving you anymore. Then start to clear the mind. Chanting mantras is a perfect way to clear the mind.
