All Days » Day 23
We all have special talents and gifts that are unique to each one of us. It is often when we come together in community or reflect our Self nature with another person in a relationship that we witness our own talents, as well as each other's talents. Today is a day to honor your talents and gifts and rejoice in each other's amazements. It is also a day to review how the mind works to create the reality in which it perceives. Here we go!
Here are your 3 gems :
1. What are you REALLY good at....like REALLY good at that people ask of you to share. If you are not sure, it's time to dig deeper. Your talent is unique to you and it is usually something that you can not see because it comes so natural to you. And once you figure out one of your talents, there are other sidebar talents that branch off of the one talent. This is where you can start to discover the kaleidoscope of your own amazing and talented self. Give it some attention.
And then share your talent or one of your favorite talents in a video or picture in the Facebook Group. When we can see each other and rejoice in each other's talents, there is joy and magic and a whole lot of fun! So do it!
2. There are many ways of looking at things and primarily we see things as either coming towards us from the outside or we see things coming from us from the inside. When things are coming towards us, we think things are just happening without our participation. We can fall into victim mentalities or mediocrity. When we see things coming towards us instead of from us, there is this sense of "it is what is" and "there is nothing to do". When things are coming from us, we have an understanding that what we see and create are projections of our mind and there is a high degree of accountability and sometimes "tough love" awakening of what we are creating or have created in the past.

Here are 6 Worldviews from a mind training called Mahamudra. Take a look at the matrix and study the ways in which you can see your mind and your situation or circumstance and then take a look at the effect of each worldview.
Worldview 1 : Things are constantly changing every second.
Phrase : "This too shall pass."
Mental Affliction : Attachment.
Effect : Allows you to not stay stuck or anxious or worry. Allows you to be in the present.
Antidote : My feelings are constantly shifting, moment to moment.
(Other view : Things stay the same for a while. And I will always feel this way.)
Worldview 2 : Absolutely nothing in the present moment is in my control.
Phrase : "I have no control on this present moment. These feelings are arising now based on past actions and thoughts."
Mental Affliction : Trying to control a situation.
Effect : Allows you to tolerate ambiguity and uncertainty and be okay with stepping into the unknown. This is the process of letting go.
Antidote : I have no control of my feelings in the present moment. Let go and feel.
(Other view : I own this. I control its fate.)
Worldview 3 : One past action or thought caused both the object, and myself who perceives the object (or situation) at that moment.
Phrase : "There are no accidents or coincidences."
Mental Affliction : Blaming others and feeling victimized.
Effect : You take responsibility for your own mind and feelings.
Antidote : One of my past actions or thoughts caused both this feeling and myself perceiving it.
(Other view : I am at the mercy of things randomly happening to me.)
Worldview 4 : I am imposing judgments on things. They could be different if I stopped seeing them from my one-sided judgment or opinion. or belief.
Phrase : "There are no objective judgments."
Mental Affliction : Criticizing others or yourself and thinking that you are "right".
Effect : Frees you from constantly replicating and strengthening labels that hurt you. There is no more arguing. And more peace. Change the label of the person, thing, situation and see that your labels are not inherent to the person, thing or situation but are merely your own personal conventions learned over time.
Antidote : I am imposing a judgment on the feeling that is not inherently part of that feeling, and could be different.
(Other view : Things are exactly how I see them, and no other way. Everyone should believe what I do.)
Worldview 5 : Things come half from their own side, and half from my perceptions.
Phrase : "Look for the silver lining" and "It takes two to tango."
Mental Affliction : Lack of creativity and thinking or feeling powerless.
Effect : Everything can be turned into an opportunity. Everything is transformable.
Antidote : Outside forces, combined with my perceptions, compose how I feel.
(Other view : Things are coming from their own side completely.)
Worldview 6 : It is all only my projection.
Phrase : "Everything is a mental image that I create and label and it functions in the way that I label it."
Mental Affliction : Ignorance of true causes of your world. Sleepwalking through life. Feeling that nothing you do matters and you cannot make your dreams come true. A feeling of hopelessness washes over you.
Effect : You have the power and ultimate responsibility to reconstruct your self and recreate yourself and your world.
Antidote : How I feel is entirely a projection.
(Other view : There is some part of the object that comes from its own side.)
Where are you in the spectrum right now? And remember we travel through these worldviews at different times for different things. They are helpful to memorize so that when you are in a situation where you are afflicted or challenged, you can manage the antidote or effect of the worldview and change your mind.
3. Here is an example of a Mahamudra Meditation. Listen for the progression of Worldview 1 through 6. Can you feel yourself in each space? What arises? This is a big lesson and a good training. It may take some time to manage the shifts in your current thinking paradigms. Be patient. And open to the possibility.

P.S. You can create anything you wish in your world. It all depends on how you want to label, see and perceive. Everything is coming from YOU!
